In order to achieve a better global control and higher transparency on how the business unit is performing in the local market, overseas companies decide on global ERP technology integration. However, due to the specific market requirements, driving change across different business processes can be a big challenge for many companies in China. In addition to the external rules, there are other factors that add up to the complexity of the process. A great understanding of the local ´know – how´ in addition to a team able to integrate with and relate to different culture are essential to respond to the rapid changing business needs and ensure a successful digital transformation.

The European Chamber of Commerce is delighted to invite speakers with extensive experience in the international and Chinese business environment who will share their expertise and insights on how they have seen the SAP expansion locally. They will address several challenges encountered and explain the high degree of flexibility and adaptability needed to successfully realize ERP projects. Furthermore, a case study of a complex but successful SAP project is presented and analyzed.

He possesses a broad international background with 5 years of management experience which has enabled him to lead teams in multi-cultural environments. He has sound knowledge of supply chain business in automotive industry, from OEM to downstream supplier being able to support and develop best fit solutions.

Pablo Meijide is the China General Manager of STRATESYS, a SAP partner. He is a computer engineer by the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and he holds an executive MBA by IESE Business School and he has developed his entire professional career in the IT sector. He has worked in all the levels in an IT career (from junior consultant to director) which has given him a deep understanding of IT projects lifecycles. He has a broad international background with working experience in 10 countries which has provided him with detailed knowledge of the IT needs that multinational companies seek during their internationalization process.

Stratesys is a Spanish IT multinational specializing in SAP with offices in Spain, Portugal, USA, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Chile and China. Stratesys has a team of over 1000 SAP specialists and a background of over 1.000 projects executed in more than 60 countries.
