Business transformation is a complex and high risk endeavor. Successful transformations are achieved when multi-disciplinary teams bring together deep industry expertise, are effective communicators of the purpose, inspire and align the organization to a new strategic vision and bring a disciplined transformation process.
Many multinationals are more profitable in China than in other markets where they operate. However, this may be changing due to both increased competition putting pressure on the top-line, and cost inflation at a rate over and above productivity gains. Cost inflation is already gaining momentum in China, and this is structural rather than cyclical. The underlying drivers include: increasing labor, material and utility costs taxation, social security and environmental compliance, and land price appreciation / cost inflation.
The European Chamber is delighted to welcome Mr. Joe Fan from FTI Consulting and Mr. Barry Chen from InterChina Partners to share with you how can experts work collaboratively with their teams to re-design organizations structures that enable fast and efficient execution of strategy and deliver improvements in organizational performance and a high performance culture, as well as a “Plan B” when business transformation or turnaround opportunities no longer exist.
