By 2050 our planet will count 9.7 billion inhabitants, with two-thirds of people living in cities. This risks generating an unprecedented amount of urban traffic. Hence, cities will have to develop integrated transport networks that can respond to citizens’ needs for increased mobility with intelligent solutions. So, it is within the cities that the automobile industry will have to leverage the benefits of digitilisation to contribute to the further decarbonisation of road transport.
European Chamber cordially invites you to join Erik Jonnaert, Secretary General of the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) on March 22 for a discussion on Urban mobility: Smart solutions for smart cities, in which Erik will address these challenges and opportunities during his speech.
