The European Chamber Southwest Chapter invite Mr. Zhan Fang, Director of Longquanyi Office of Chengdu Customs District to make a brief introduction to Customs formalities covering Customs preliminary control, on-site control and follow-up control.
In pace with the integration of global economy and the inflow of China to the outside world, international trade and cooperation increase and national economy cycle forms. The development of international trade and modern logistics makes still greater demands on the management of Customs clearance. It is internationally a law or an administrative decree that import and export cargoes must pass through the Customs and be subject to Customs inspection when they are crossing a country’s border. Export goods are not allowed to be loaded onto the outgoing carrier and import goods are forbidden to take delivery from the incoming carrier unless they have been duly released by the Customs. A procedure to this effect called the Customs formality is always required. As one of the major functions of China Customs, official procedures of supervision and control over import and export goods are most important to Customs brokers, freight forwarders, importers and exporters. Meanwhile, we invite guest from Dragon Sino., Ltd to share practical experience and tips to us as well.
