Call for Experts for the next EU-China APP Activity

Dear all,
The European Chamber’s Aviation & Aerospace Working Group Secretariat is calling for one expert to participate in the upcoming EU-China APP activity, which will focus on “Performance based regulatory environment” a two-day workshop taking place in Beijing, on 27-28 October.
Background of the Activity:
Target Groups: CAAC Safety office, law and regulation department, aircraft airworthiness department, flight standards department, EASA

Date and place: 27-28 October, Beijing, China
While compliance remains a necessary foundation for the management of safety, the ever growing complexity in the aviation system demands an evolution to maintain and continuously improve aviation safety. The workshop will mainly be concerned with the introduction of a performance based environment in relation to safety based on a two way exchange of information. On day two of the workshop a dedicated exchange on airline risk management is foreseen.
Scope of work:
Presentation by a European airline representative of 30-minutes on the topic of Airline risk management – the example of a European Airlines”
Drafting of supporting PowerPoint presentation in English or Chinese;
Participation in the follow-up Questions & Answers session;
Preparation of an expert feedback report.
Who Should Apply?
The EU-China Aviation Partnership Project (APP) cordially invites expertsfrom the European airline industry or alternatively an aircraft manufacturer to apply for this speaking slot, willing to share their experience in the promotionof sound airline risk management. The experts are expected to deliver the following results:
Awareness raised about Performance-based Regulatory Environment in Europe based on the example of a European airline
Contributed to overall safety promotion with the context of EU-China aviation relations
Assessed scope for a possible follow-up activity in 2017
