Both the Aviation and the Aerospace working groups were an integral part of the European Chamber since its foundation in 2000. In 2015, the two working groups were merged into a combined Aviation and Aerospace Working Group to create an aligned and cohesive voice for increased political-level exchanges. The Aviation and Aerospace Working Group includes passenger and freight air carriers and companies that manufacture a broad range of aerospace products including civil aircrafts, aero engines, helicopters, space systems and equipment. It also comprises maintenance and service companies that carry out repairs, training and other activities supporting the aviation industry in general.
