The European Union Chamber of Commerce has been a strong advocate of CSR in the past years. After the successful 3rd European Chamber CSR Award in 2016, which gathered prominent leaders and CSR practitioners from all over China, with a strong interest to learn and exchange experience to advance CSR in China, we are proud to announce the launch of our 4th-year events. The Award aims to acknowledge CSR successes, raise sustainability awareness, and share the CSR experiences with organizations looking to embrace corporate responsibility in China.

China Business Forecast 2018

InterChina and Taylor Wessing are delighted to once again host their annual business forecast. InterChina will share their views on the business issues for the year ahead, drawing on their survey of around 100 China country heads, combined with recent project experience. A significant number of fresh graduates are not equipped with the competitive skills needed to function successfully in the current work environment in China, resulting in companies spending large amounts of time and money in training.
To help bridge the gap between students’ capabilities and market needs, the European Chamber Human Resources Working Group further recommends that companies get involved in developing university curriculum. Academia and business need to work hand in hand to share resources and develop competitive talent the market needs.
To discuss this topic at length, the European Chamber is delighted to welcome a host of professionals leading this change on the universities and companies side, who will share their experiences, challenges and best practices.
