Food and Beverage Working Group Meeting Postponed

We regret to inform you that Food and Beverage Working Group meeting tomorrow, Tuesday 12th April, 2005 has been postponed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and looking forward to announcing the date of the next meeting shortly. The meeting was postponed due to low numbers of confirmations.
We are pleased to invite you to the next Food and Beverage WG meeting taking place on April 12th 2005, at Shanghai Chamber Offices.
Our agenda includes:
Preparation of the 2005 Position Paper Presentation by Hong Sun of Hennessy on Addition of Caramel (EU-China Comparison) Subject: Revision of Food Addictives Standard GB 2760-1996 Current standard limits the scope of use of food addictives, which makes some EU foodstuffs not marketable in China; The Chinese standard does not meet with international standards, including EU regulations The standard is under revision, hence an opportunity for EU food and beverage industries to give comments.
