Borgward Faurecia (Tianjin) Auto Systems Co., Ltd. is a Sino-French joint venture that established in June 2016. As a member of Faurecia Group, it is mainly engaged in development and production of car seats and is a world leading supplier for customers in both China and Europe. The company will also set up technology center to provide such services as product developent, after-sales service and technical support. It is expected that an engineering team that can design the whole seats and spare parts will be set up in 2020 and the team will import the core R&D module including design, sample pieces and laboratories with world-class R&D capability.
