The European Chamber is pleased to invite you to the next Insurance Working Group meeting. It will be held on Thursday, 22nd March starting at 16:00
During this meeting, we will have the pleasure to welcomeMs. Jing Hu, Assurance Partner, PwC China who will give a presentation on “Current Development of Foreign-funded Insurance Institutions in China and Relevant Research”.
Elections for Chair and Vice Chairs Positions
Following the call for candidacy for the Chair and Vice-Chair positions, Insurance Working Group is pleased to announce that the following individuals have put their names forward for the 2018/19 Chair elections:
One National Chair Position
- Ms Amy Zhu, ERGO Group AG General Representative Office China (bio and motivation attached)
National Vice-Chair Position (Beijing)
- Mr Ignacio Rodriguez Arteche, Chief Representative Officer, MAPFRE RE China, Beijing Representative Office (bio and motivation attached)
National Vice-Chair Position (Shanghai)
No candidacies – If you would like to run for any of these positions, please contact Mr. Xavier-Lluis Sans Powell at xsanspowell@europeanchamber.com.cn and Mr. Max Merkle at mmerkle@europeanchamber.com.cn
Position Paper discussion
At this meeting we will also have the initial discussion for the Consumer Finance & NBFI Position Paper 2018/19. In order to better structure the discussion, we would really appreciate it if you could send your feedback on which would be your priorities in terms of Key Recommendations as well as items need to be updated/changed or removed for the Position Paper of this year to Mr. Xavier-Lluis Sans Powell at xsanspowell@europeanchamber.com.cn before noon Tuesday, 20th March.
Please take a few minutes to review last years’ Position Paper and decide which items need to be updated/changed or removed.
