主要职能包括依法对经深圳口岸进出境的货物、运输工具、行李邮递物品等进行监管；征收关税和其它法定由海关征收的税费；查缉走私；开展贸易统计并办理其他海关业务。

Shenzhen Customs District is in Shenzhen. Its supervision areas include Shenzhen and Huizhou.
The customs affairs in Shenzhen Customs District are divided into the following categories: maritime transport, land transport, air transport and postal delivery; tariff collection; preventing and countering smuggling; conducting trade statistics and other operations.
