In many cultures, talking about money is considered impolite or distasteful. In Germany, for instance, they say that he who has money, shouldn’t talk about it. Whereas in America it’s far more common to casually drop your annual income into small talk. What may be comfortable for some, leaves others uneasy and embarrassed.
Let’s face it, we all need money but we don’t know how to talk about it! From negotiating salaries to landing new clients, Eveline Goodman tackles the sensitive subject of money. She admits, when she started her career she too was afraid of talking cash. One often worries, am I charging too much? Will my price scare clients off?
In this event you’ll learn ways to confidently talk about your worth as well as how to research your own market value. It is all about how you deliver your service, and ensuring that the quality matches the price! It is not about manipulation or hard bargaining to get the best price you can; it is about getting the price you deserve.
Gain the communication skills and confidence to talk about salaries in interviews, or how to talk about your projects or freelance service when pitching to clients. We welcome all professional levels.
