The European Chamber of Commerce in China, in cooperation with the Tianjin Networking Club, German Chamber and other chambers and organization in Tianjin and Beijing, has the pleasure of inviting you to this special edition of Inter-Chamber Networking on Friday, April 14, 2017, 19:00 p.m. to 21:00 p.m. on the 2F Lobby Bridge of The Ritz Carlton, Tianjin.

For this event, we are honored to have Stephen Li and Xiaonan Song, two Tianjin-born cityscape photographers who will display the best of their works on the event.

Photographer Profile:

Stephen Li, a member in two Tianjin photography committees, has been working in a German shipping company. He started his photography journey back to 2010 and has been keen on shooting photos of the beautiful skyline of Tianjin city since 2015. So far he has gained more than two hundreds wonderful cityscape-views of this riverside city. He was inspired by a group of photographers, including Chen Yuefeng who share the same hobby and very much indulged in this skywalk photography style. These people always fancy about shooting the city on top of different buildings to capture the amazing views, especially the sunrise and the sunset. One of his major wishes is to utilize these pictures to promote the image of his mother city and share the photos on the social media to enable people to know more about Tianjin. 

Personal Achievement

• One of his works was awarded the 3rd place by “European-trade City Photography Contest” in September 2016
• One work was awarded 3rd place by “Red House, White House Photography Contest” in October 2016

Xiaonan Song, a post-80’s photographer, who is specialized in time-lapse photography, and has been in love with cityscape photography for a few years. He also was awarded in several local photography contests. Major works include ‘City Landscape’,’Kuala Lumpur Time-lapse 2015’, ‘Thailand Tour’, ‘MIDI Festival Time-lapse Show’. In 2016 he joined a celebrity’s advertisement video work, and in 2017 he is in a documentary video ‘Unbelievably Beautiful’ works.

About the Exhibition

Cityscape photography of the modern metropolis – Tianjin in color and black and white - by photographers Stephen Li and his friend Xiaonan. Cityscape photos in this gallery feature different areas of Tianjin city, the CBD, The Five Avenues of Heping District, downtown area of the city, skyscrapers, landmarks of the city, etc. The night photographs are captured with long-time exposure to create gallery quality large format prints of exceptional detail and clarity. Stephen and Xiaonan will present their night photography in hopes of sharing with you a sensational city view and enable you to feel the city pulse.
