Dear IPR Working Group Members,
The next IPR Working Group meeting is scheduled on Tuesday 14 March in Beijing, Shanghai & South China where we will hold the 2017-2018 IPR Working Group Chairs elections. Next to that, we will also be kicking off the 2017/18 IPR Position Paper (PP) discussion. Therefore we strongly encourage you all to attend this meeting and have your say in our lobbying priorities, strategy and direction of the group for the year to come.
The next WG meeting is aimed at targeting the main key recommendations of IPR Working Position Paper 2017/18 and spotting the lead pens. Working Group members are encouraged to review last year’s IPR Position Paper and identify internally the key issues to be included in the upcoming 2017/18 edition. In order to prepare in advance and better structure the discussion, Working Group members are requested to send in their concerns and recommendations prior to the Working Group Meeting, using the Call for inputs template attached.
Tentative agenda:
· 09:00 – 09:10: Welcome Remarks by Mr. Elliot Papageorgiou, National Chair of IPR Working Group
· 09:10 – 09:40: 2017-2018 Chair & Vice-Chair Elections
· 09:40 – 11:00: Discussion on the IPR Position Paper 2017/18 (appointment of the lead pens and drafting of the KRs)
