Every year, the Automotive Working Group produces an Automotive Position Paper (PP), which outlines an up-to-date overview of the current regulatory environment of the auto sector in China and provides recommendations which, as hoped, are of assistance to relevant Chinese policy makers working towards a better regulatory environment for the industry.
The Automotive Working Group cordially invites you to the next working group meeting on Wednesday March 1st, from 2:30-4:30pm at EUCCC’s Sennheiser room. At this meeting, we will host the 2017 chair election and organize discussions to identify the advocacy priorities for the automotive working group for the year ahead.

Calling for Candidates
The Automotive Working Group is calling for candidates for 2017-2018 chair election. Three positions are open for nomination, including one chair and two vice chairs.
About Roles and Responsibility
Chair and Vice-Chairs play a crucial role in driving the working group activities, which include leading Position Paper drafting process, providing input on lobbying strategies and communicating key messages to Chinese and European government authorities on behalf of the industry.
About Eligibility
Corporate Members are eligible for Chair and Vice Chair positions. Associate Members and representatives from industry associations are only eligible to hold one of the Vice Chair Positions.
Who Should Apply?
Industry professionals with governmental affairs/public policy background are encouraged to apply. Preferably the chairs/vice chairs should be represented by the passenger vehicles industry and the commercial vehicles industry.
