Dear EHI Desk Members,
Following up the call-for-comments message as you can see from the below, after discussion with the Association of EHI, we’d like to have a meeting at 15:00 – 16:00, 27 July, 2016 to discuss about the Restricted Use of Hazardous Substances in Electronic and Electrical Products Methods (“Methods”), which was issued by the MIIT with other 7 ministries and took effect on 1 July, 2016.
The purpose of this meeting is to identify questions we have now regarding the implementation of the Methods and how it will impact our member companies’ business. Based on the feedback we received so far, here attach a note with its background for your better understanding.
Kindly please note that both Beijing & Shanghai meeting rooms have been reserved. However, in case some of you may be on business trip, a con-call will be set up as well for your convenience (the con-call details will be shared later).
