Vice President of the European Commission and Commissioner for Jobs, Growth, Investment and Competitiveness Jyrki Katainen attended the Chamber’s Annual General Meeting on 27th April, to deliver an exclusive address to the attending members. 

During his speech he paid testament to the important role that the Chamber plays in strengthening EU-China relations. He also discussed the agenda of his visit to China, the current economic situation in Europe and progress that has been made so far in the EU-China Investment Agreement negotiations. Vice President Katainen then took part in a Q&A session with Chamber President Jörg Wuttke.
