Huawei's new offices in Milan have been inaugurated, designed to be a combination of technology, design and urban tradition

The new Huawei office in Milan was inaugurated , designed and built by Progetto CMR  in the wake of the connection between the company and the city that hosts it.

As illustrated by the architect Giovanni Giacobone, Senior Associate of the CMR Project , a distinctive feature of the European headquarters of the Chinese company, in fact, is to seek a contamination between the core business and the company values ​​and the identity characteristics of the city in which the spaces arise. Project CMR , in charge of implementing the European offices of Huawei including Milan, Rome and Dublin , in the city of Milan has collected this indication focusing on design and style concepts and integrating some of the key symbols of the urban face of the city.

With the dual objective of designing spaces in which the company's values ​​are clearly recognizable and making the location of the new premises visible from the inside, the designers and architects of Progetto CMR have created the offices and showroom of Huawei making wise use of the colors and distinctive forms of the company, recalling the soul of Milan as the capital of design in the iconic furniture lines, and depicting the city skyline in a stylized way in the graphics of the walls and dividing panels.

In the reception is enclosed spirit of the project: light installations in the ceiling and wall, the stylization of the Milan Cathedral as a backdrop to the waiting, designer furnishings transformed as needed, receive the power of technology, which is the protagonist through a large scenographic ledwall and a monitor of the waiting area.

Other distinctive elements of the project are the organic forms of custom furniture, floor signs and krion walls , which create a futuristic environment that distinguishes and reflects the high tech world of Huawei, and the multifunctionality of the spaces, totally flexible thanks to the presence of maneuverable walls and cutting-edge technologies.
