Working level meeting with Foshan Government Bureaus

On June 3rd, in Foshan, Members of the European Chamber, addressed questions raised by European business operating in Foshan during the working level meeting with the representatives of Foshan government bureaus, co-organized by the Bureau of Commerce of Foshan City. The Q&A session was evolving around wide range of themes including air pollution, human resources, IP, tax and social security fees and others.
During this meeting the European Business in China Position Paper 2014/2015 was handover to Mr. Zhou Zhitong, Director General of the Bureau of Commerce of Foshan City, Mr. Liu Xiaoming, Deputy Director General of the Bureau of Commerce of Foshan City and Mr. Yu Hongping, Director General of Foshan Investment Promotion Agency by Mr. Nhon Holl-Trieu, European Chamber Representative to Foshan City, Ms. Ingrid Qin, Vice-Chair, Legal & Taxation Working Group, Ms. Anna Rudawska, Deputy Manager, South China Chapter.
During this working level meeting 19 local government bureaus were present: Bureau of Commerce of Foshan City, Foshan Investment Promotion Agency, Foshan Municipal Economy and Information, Foshan Municipal Education Bureau, Foshan Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, Foshan Municipal Public Security Bureau, Foshan Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Foshan Municipal Land Planning Bureau, Foshan Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau, Foshan Municipal Housing Construction Bureau, Foshan Municipal Transportation Bureau, Foshan Municipal Public Health Administration, Foshan Municipal Industrial and Commercial Administration, Foshan Municipal National Tax Bureau, Foshan Municipal Local Tax Bureau, Chancheng Economy, Science and Technology Promotion Bureau, Nanhai Economy, Science and Technology Promotion Bureau, and Sino-German Industrial Development Zone.
