Meeting with Mayor of Chengdu City

A.) We will have at least 2 times a year the same kind of meeting to communicate directly, and the next meeting will be on the 28th of October 2010 (Thursday) with the same major participants, and the meeting will take place in Chongqing, as some European Consulates are based in CQ.
B.) The Mayor is very willing to promote Chengdu in front of and facilitate the communication with our member companies. We are welcomed to approach him at any time.
C.) For all policy & incentive information, it is already translated into English, some even in French and all information is on the Chengdu government offical website, and please don't hesitate to make use of it.

D.) We have established the monthly meeting/dinner with each different government department. This type of meeting will take place on last Tuesday of each month, and Chengdu IPC will help to coordinate between the European Chamber & different departments. The next 2 meetings are scheduled as:
1.) 27th April with Chengdu Tax Bureau (will suggest to have both National Tax & Local Tax bureaux);
2.) 25th May with Chengdu Customs.
E.) Chengdu Investment & Promotion Bureau can coordinate with the European Chamber and help to contribute to our 2010/2011 Position Paper.
F.) Chengdu government would like to cooperate with the European Chamber on Chengdu "European Center" project.
