Chamber Discusses CSR Standards with MIIT

The European Chamber co-hosted, with amfori, the 18th Sino-European CSR Roundtable Forum at the Beijing International Hotel. Some notable attendees were Yuan Boyong, chair of the European Chamber’s Consumer Social Responsibility (CSR) Forum, Jessica Wang, vice chair of the Chamber’s CSR Forum, and Xu Hua, director of the General Office at the Policy and Regulations Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).

Mr Yuan urged for the strengthening of domestic CSR standards so China could further integrate with the rest of the world in using well-established tools and management systems for sustainable corporate development.
