Chamber Vice President Addresses at the Government Training Workshop of MOFCOM

Chamber Vice President Massimo Bagnasco was invited to share the Chamber’s experience and recommendations on the development zones and industrial parks in China with the government officials from Shanxi Province and Shandong Province, at the Government Training Workshop organised by the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) and the Suzhou Industrial Park Training Management Centre in Qingdao. Followed by brief introduction on the Chamber, Mr Bagnasco further elaborated the needs and expectations of European business and provided the key findings from the European Chamber Business Confidence Survey 2017, along with EU-China cooperation opportunities at industrial level for new type of urbanisation as well as a case study.

At the end of this workshop, Mr Bagnasco presented the European Chamber Business Confidence Survey 2017 and the European Chamber Position Paper 2017/2018 to Mr Kong Lingyu, Special Commissioner of MOFCOM’s Qingdao Special Commissioner’s Office and Mr Li Wei, Director of Development Zones Administration Division of Department of Commerce, Shanxi Province.
