Meeting with Eco Center of Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA)

Mr Geraint Feng, Deputy Head of Clean-tech Transfer Division, Eco Centre of Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA) under the Environmental Protection Administration of Tianjin Municipality, paid the visit to the Chamber for future cooperation opportunities in the sectors of environmental protection, clean technology, energy conservation and carbon trading market. As he introduced, there are three primary function of TEDA Eco Centre, including enterprise services, project management and office administration. For the division of enterprise services, the centre usually provides three categories of services including matchmaking activities, training sessions and consulting services.

In addition, TEDA Eco Centre also functions as the secretariat for the Green Development League of National Economic and Technological Development Zones, co-funded by TEDA and other 35 stage-level economic & technological development zones, which aims to promote the national ecological development strategy, and the communication among those zones on green, low carbon and circular development.

This meeting concluded with Mr Feng’s hope to cooperate with the Chamber on future events and projects in the aforementioned sectors and Ms Zhang Ziting, Chamber’s Director of Government Affairs (Chinese Affairs), presenting the Chamber’s publications to Mr Feng.
