Meeting with Vice-Governor of Anhui Province on Healthcare Industry

Mr. Adam Dunnett, European Chamber Secretary General, led a delegation of pharmaceutical member companies to attend the 10th Central China Expo in Hefei, Anhui. Mr. Xie Guangxiang, Vice-Governor of Anhui Province supervising healthcare sector, hosted a meeting with European Chamber representatives.

Mr. Xie Guangxiang opened the meeting by welcoming the European Chamber delegation and introducing the history, culture and economic development of Anhui Province as well as the current healthcare reform in Anhui Province. 

Following Mr. Adam Dunnett's introduction of the Chamber and the Pharmaceutical Working Group, each representative introduced the companies and expressed the willingness to further cooperate with Anhui Government and promote the wellbeing of patients in Anhui. Vice-Governor Xie and European Chamber representatives also exchanged views on the ongoing healthcare reform in Anhui Province. 

After the meeting, Mr. Dunnett presented the European Chamber's newly published China Manufacturing 2025 report to Vice-Governor Xie Guangxiang. 

During the Central China Expo, Mr. Adam Dunnett also attended a private session hosted by Vice Premier Wang Yang, particularly discussing the business environment for foreign investors, and presented the China Manufacturing 2025 reports to Mr. He Baoxiang, Vice-Governor of Hunan Province and Mr. Mao Weiming, Vice-Governor of Jiangxi Province.
