Guangdong Pilot Free Trade Zone – government meeting

There are more than 50,000 enterprises operating in the Guangdong Pilot Free Trade Zone (GD FTZ) and among them only dozen from Europe – informed the General Affairs Office of China Guangdong Free Trade Zone during the meeting with the European Chamber on October 23rd in Guangzhou. During this meeting, Mr. Guangjun Chen introduced the foundation of the General Affairs Office of China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone, related laws enforcement and preferential taxation policies. The European Chamber and GD FTZ will continue to meet regularly in order to provide most up-to-date information about the development in the GD FTZ and opportunities for businesses.
The meeting concluded with the handovers of European Business in China Position Paper 2015/2016 and South China Position Paper 2015/2016 by Mr. Vivian Desmonts, Vice Chairman, South China Board of the European Chamber to Mr. Guangjun Chen, Deputy Director-General of the General Affairs Office of China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone.
