Job description
The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China is looking for a part-time office intern to work at the Chongqing office.
Office location: 23F Block B4, Chongqing Foreign Business District, Yubei District, Chongqing, China
Working hours: 14:00 – 18:00 Monday to Friday
Length of contract: 6-month contract
Start Time: immediately
General Responsibilities:
To assist the Chongqing Office to organise events and the office administrative works, including drafting invitations, inviting guests by emails and phone calls, managing event registration, arranging meetings, coordinating onsite events, managing office logistics, etc. (70%)
To assist the Chongqing Office and Southwest Chapter Membership Manager to develop European Chamber membership in Chongqing (5%)
To build up Chongqing contact database (15%)
Other tasks assigned by the General Manager in Southwest Chapter and the Board of the Chapter (10%)
Skills & experience
· Students in the last year of undergraduate or postgraduate studies
· Fluent in English both written and oral
· Strong project management and organisational skills as well as the ability to work to strict deadlines
· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
· Excellent communication skills
· Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel, and Outlook email
· Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
· Experience working with the events organising is a plus
· A team player with a proactive and flexible approach to work
