The Water Working Group was founded in November, 2012, in response to the increasing focus on the water sector in China. The Working Group comprises of members of the entire value chain, including consultants, waste-water treatment, desalination and suppliers. The Working Group currently consists of more than 20 European companies operating in the sector.

The major focus of the Working Group is to liaise with relevant government and business associations and to support the platforms developed for EU-China cooperation on the sector.
