The Pearl River Delta (PRD) Chapter of the European Chamber was established in 2006, first in Guangzhou and a year later in Shenzhen. In 2011, the PRD Chapter introduced a representative to Zhuhai and Zhongshan. The PRD Chapter covers the geographic area of the Pearl River Delta Region that expands across nine major cities including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Foshan, Jiangmen, Huizhou, Zhuhai, Zhongshan and Zhaoqing. The European Chamber, PRD Chapter now has more than 300 members mainly representing the following industries: manufacturing, trade and sourcing, electronics, business consultancy, hospitality, certification services and education.
